Cadence ("the app") is built to respect your privacy. This policy explains what data the app handles and how.
Everything you create in the app: focus sessions, breaks, statistics and streaks, is stored locally on your iPhone. We have no access to this data and operate no server that hosts it.
The app requires no account. It contains no analytics tools, no advertising networks, and does not track your activity for advertising or measurement purposes.
If you allow it, the app uses your approximate location (reduced accuracy) for a single purpose: painting the sky in the app with your local weather and real sunrise and sunset times. To do this, rounded coordinates are sent to the Open-Meteo weather API to serve the request in real time. Cadence stores no location history, and the request contains no personal identifiers. These exchanges are governed by Open-Meteo's terms:
If you decline location access, the app simply paints its sky from the time of day. Nothing else changes.
Session alerts are local notifications scheduled on your device. They involve no server.
Uninstalling the app deletes all local data.
The app is not directed at children and knowingly collects no data about them.
